Project Concept
Meraki is a voice-first note-taking web application designed for people who capture ideas and information on the go. Instead of typing, users simply record their voice, and Meraki automatically transforms the recording into a structured note with a title, summary, and full transcript. Notes are categorized, searchable, and can be revisited in both text and audio form.
Once notes are created, users can go beyond static reading. Meraki includes a voice-enabled assistant that allows users to “chat with their notes.” The assistant can answer questions, highlight key tasks, and provide condensed overviews based on the content of all stored notes. This makes Meraki especially useful for busy professionals, creatives, and anyone who often has ideas while commuting, walking, or multitasking.
The application focuses on an intuitive user experience. A clean home explains the core value proposition and shows how Meraki helps with everyday scenarios, such as capturing important tasks, generating a shopping list, or preserving creative ideas. After logging in, users see a simple note workspace: a left menu with categories and settings, and a main area with a list of note cards. With a single button, users can record a new note, see it appear instantly as a summarized card, and play back the original audio or open the full note view. As the note collection grows, the chat assistant becomes a powerful interface for interacting with the user’s personal knowledge base.
